A delightful and rare holy water font in porcelain of Paris . A delightful piece and very rare to find one with no chips or cracks as it is in perfect condition.

This wonderful Holy Water Font measures 17 cm by 9 cm and is 4 cm deep.

It is the typical pure translucent white of bisque porcelain of Paris from this era.

This lovely font came from a chateau sale near Bordeaux and that is probably why it is in such pristine condition.

The high gloss glaze has been left off the head of Christ in the centre so that it stands out and it stands just under 2 centimetres proud of the rest of the font.
