A few notes about how we ship and the costs.
I buy a lot of things online and so, like you, I hate shipping costs but I know the item has to get to me so I like to know as early in the buying process what the shipping cost is going to be.
Each item has the weight, including packaging, in the description and we use this to calculate the shipping cost to your location.
Where a client orders more than one item and one or more of the items qualify for Free Shipping then shipping for that, or those items, will not be included in the total at checkout.
At French Antique Collections we re-cycle packaging so please do not be surprised when your package arrives. For us it is important that the item is safely packaged and not so much what the packaging looks like and it helps to stop waste. Please open your packaging carefully and re-use it wherever possible.
International Shipping Rates - Everywhere Except France
Standard international shipping is usually with the French postal services using their tracked international services Delivengo and Colissimo up to a total weight of 2 kilos.
0-250 grams 7 euros
250-500 grams 9 euros
500-1000 grams 14 euros
1000-2000 grams 18 euros
Above a total of 2 kilos we use international carrier services.
2000-5000 grams 46 euros
5000-10000 grams 65 euros
The French post office estimates 10-12 working days to North America and 12-15 working days to Australia. That, of course, ignores strikes and other possible delays like a hold up at customs in the receiving country. In our experience it is sensible to allow 3 weeks to North America and four weeks to Australia.
