Returns & exchanges
We will gladly accept returns and exchanges as we adhere to the European rules on distance selling.
1 To arrange a return or exchange you must contact us within: 24 hours of delivery
2 Items must be sent back within: 30 days of delivery
We do not accept cancellations but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Conditions of return
All the items we sell are vintage or antique and as such are almost always in a used condition. We take great care to photograph and describe all items accurately and to provide all information as to the condition of the item.
In the event that an item is being returned for any other reason than it arriving damaged or not being as photographed or described then the buyer is responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
Items Received Damaged
On delivery you should examine the packaging for any obvious signs of damage to it and or the contents. Where there is obvious damage to the packaging you should open the package in the presence of the carrier. If there is damage to the contents you should give the package back to the carrier for return and get them to note the damage. It is essential then to open a claim with the carrier or postal service within 24 hours. Once the item is received back by us we will offer a full refund if the previous steps have been completed.
In practice it is not always possible to inspect or open a package whilst the carrier is present. In that case, where damage to the contents is present, you must photograph the packaging and the contents and open a claim with the carrier or postal service within 24 hours of receipt and immediately inform French Antique Collections of said damage providing the photographic evidence you have taken. You should the ship the item back to us using a tracked service and once it is received back by us we will offer a full refund.
