A beautiful pendant medal of The Virgin Mary on one side with the grotto scene from Lourdes on the other.
A lovely example of this typically French blue enamelling onto silver.
It was made by Jean Cassagnet of Paris in around 1895 and it bears their mark in a lozenge which shows this medal is 925 silver.
The medal measures 1.7 cm in diameter and weighs 2.6 grams
This lovely medal came from the collection at a chateau near Agen and is in pristine condition.
