Art Deco Rosary From France With Hand Cut Mother of Pearl Beads and Gold Plated Cross, Chain and Medal
A beautifully made and strung art deco rosary from France in the 1920s. Each mother of pearl bead is perfect and the cross is wonderfully detailed. Plated in 22ct gold, which is the standard for France, both the cross and the linking medallion are in superb condition. The medallion bears the head and shoulders of Our Blessed Mother the Virgin Mary.
An exquisite piece of work.
The cross measures 3 cm by 2 cm. The linking medal 1.5cms by 1.3cms. The rosary measures 39 centimetres in total length.
