Born in 1875 Abel La Fleur became famous for his bas relief medals in the Art Nouveau and Art deco styles.

This lovely medal of Saint Andrew the Apostle is in the art deco style and was made by LaFleur in 1950, just three years before his death.

It is a very imposing medal being fully 5.9 cms in diameter with a thickness of 4mm and weighs in at 100.8g.

It is in excellent condition.
