A stunning Ecco Home - Behold The Man, medal of Christ. The reverse has a cross entwined with a garland so it was probably made as a communion medal but it is not inscribed.
It is 22 carat gold filled by FIX in France and it is marked FIX on the reverse . This method involves pressing two sheets of gold onto a medal which is usually made of silver or copper or bronze.
