Antique Pendant Cross, Mother Of Pearl Cross With Solid Silver Corpus Christi Back And Tips, French circa 1870, With 18" Silver Chain
This is a beautiful antique mother of pearl cross with a solid silver Corpus Christi back and tips.
The figure of Our Lord Jesus Christ beautifully done and is solid silver, the whole proportions are excellent.
There is a clear Crab hallmark which denotes it is solid silver and this mark has been in use in France since 1838. The maker's mark is unclear but from the style and condition I would place this beautiful cross at around 1870.
It is in beautiful condition.
