A beautiful and delicate genuine coral rosary made around 1900.

Each bead measures approximately 4 mm, I say approximately because they are hand turned natural coral so are not exact sizes.

This is a full five decade rosary.

In total length it is 36 cm. The cross measures 2.5 x 1 cm and the link medal of The Virgin Mary in the pose of the Miraculous Medal is 1 cm in diameter. The link medal, cross and chain are all bronze.

A stunningly beautiful rosary in excellent antique condition.

The beautiful mother of pearl shell case has all its fittings in bronze and is in perfect condition. It measures 7 centimetres in diameter and is 3 centimetres deep. The clasp is perfect.

It is light and delicate so it is likely it was made for a woman or a child. The reverse of the link medal has laurel leaves to one side so could easily be engraved for a communion present.
