Antique Catholic Rosary, French, Large Hand Made Mother of Pearl Beads and Cross, Puffed Silver Link and Chain, Circa 1880
A beautifully made and strung art nouveau rosary made in France in the late 1800s. Each mother of pearl bead is perfect as is each 'Our Father' and each is hand carved. The Hail Mary beads are 1 centimetres in diameter while the Our Father beads are 0.7 centimetres.
This is a five decade rosary.
The puffed sliver heart shaped link medal is 1.2 x 1.1 centimetres
An exquisite piece of very high quality work.
The stunning mother of pearl cross measures 5 cm by 2.5 cms.
This wonderful rosary measures 53 cm in length and it weighs 68 grams
