A beautiful 19th century French catholic rosary where the chain, cross and link medal are solid silver.
A wonderful piece of workmanship which is not surprising as the French art glass makers were the best in the world and here they have created a deep green bead flecked with red to imitate bloodstone or Jasper.
It measures 48 cm in length including the cross.
In total it weighs 48 grams and would be suitable for a girl or woman.
This lovely rosary is in excellent condition with just a couple of nibbles to the beads.
