Art Glass Rosary, Antique French Rosary, Seven Silver Link Medals Of The Virgin Mary, Nickel Silver Ebony Inlaid Cross

A beautiful 19th century French catholic rosary with a hand made ebony inlaid cross in nickel silver although the Corpus Christi is solid silver.

With hand made amber colored art glass beads and each one has been dimpled to really catch the light. A wonderful piece of workmanship.

There seven silver medals all of which depict The Virgin mary on one side and the grotto scene from Lourdes on the other.

The hand made nickel silver cross has 'Souvenir Of Lourdes' on the reverse so this lovely rosary dates from the latter part of the 19th century.

It measures 40 cm in length no including the cross which measures 3 cm by 2 cm.

In total it weighs 21.9g and would be suitable for a girl or woman.

This lovely rosary is in excellent condition, it just needs a polish.
