This antique bronze chapel crucifix was made as a Lourdes pilgrimage souvenir and dates to circa 1890. It measures 25 × 13 cm and features a cast bronze figure of Christ retaining traces of its original gold wash.

This beautiful cross was created for that stream of pilgrims visiting the shrine at Lourdes. It is made from silvered bronze with a cast bronze Corpus Christi that was originally gold washed and some of that still exists.
