This beautiful crucifix has a Corpus Christi and Crucifix of solid bronze.
It is signed by the artist 'Hartmann'. This is Johannes Hartmann a prolific German Sculptor famous for his religious works (1869-1952).
It is truly a wonderful piece and in perfect condition with a beautiful patina to the bronze.
Recently a bronze crucifix by this artist sold for over 350 euros on Ebay Ireland but I was lucky enough to find this at an auction in France and am able to offer it at a very sensible price for a piece of this rarity and quality.
I have tried hard to show how beautiful this sculpture is but it is far far better in reality. Whoever is the new owner of this truly remarkable piece will treasure it forever.
