Antique Chapel Crucifix, Gilded Spelter Corpus Christi Mounted On Walnut Cross , Presentation In Commemoration 1919-1920
This beautiful chapel crucifix has a Corpus Christi of gilded cast bronze which has been mounted onto a stunning walnut cross which has been inlaid with bronze.
It is hand carved by one of the many artists that abound near Lourdes and it was made as a souvenir of a collaboration of priests that took place just after WWI between 1919 and 1920.
It is truly a wonderful piece and in excellent condition.
The Corpus Christi measures 20 cm by 14 cm and the cross is 41 cm by 21 cm.
