Lourdes Centenary Pendant, Beautiful Solid Silver Pendant, The Virgin Mary With Grotto Scene on Reverse 1958

The inscription is clear that it was made in 1958 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the appearance of The Virgin Mary at Lourdes.

The face of the medal has the image of Our Blessed Mother The Virgin Mary.

On the back of the medal is a depiction of Saint Bernadette at the grotto at Lourdes and this has clearly been made by one of the many superb artisans making gold and silver items around Lourdes, in fact it is signed L Brunswick.

This beautiful pendant is large as it measures 4 cm in diameter.
