A beautiful pendant medal of The Virgin Mary on one side with the grotto scene from Lourdes on the other.
A lovely example of this typically French blue enamelling onto silver.
It has the boars head mark which shows this medal is 925 silver. There is no maker's mark to be seen.
The medal measures 1.2 cm in diameter and weighs 1.1 grams
This lovely medal came from the collection at a chateau near Agen and is in pristine condition.
