True Cross Reliquary Plus Relics of Jesus Christ, Saint Peter, The Virgin Mary and St Louis de Gonzague

There are two Thecas included in this collection. The first is a turned walnut box containing relics of Saint Peter and Saint Louis De Gonzague and a piece of The True Cross.

The second is a large solid silver and gilt lined Theca containing a relic of The Virgin Mary, leaves from the olive grove at The Garden of Gesthemane and a small piece of the Tomb of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Accompanied by a hand written not from Jean Jaury of Toulouse who made a pilgrimage to Palestine in 1947 and was given the piece of stone by a nun who was praying at the entrance to the tomb.

Both relics come from his collection and so I have kept them together.
