When in France if you order just 'coffee' you are going to get a small strong coffee. That is what these lovely souvenir of Lourdes cups were designed for - so they are not big! The saucers measure 10 centimetres in diameter while the cups stand 4.5 centimetres tall and 4.5cm in diameter.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThey are stunningly decorated in deep Burgundy red and 22 carat gold.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eMade as souvenirs of a pilgrimage to the Holy Shrine at Lourdes they are of the finest French porcelain.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis porcelain decorating workshop was established in 1928 by Martial Fontanille, who partnered with Mr. Gandois until 1930, and then with his son-in-law, Maurice Marraud, from 1934 onwards.
