It is in almost perfect condition with just tiny nick on the beautiful onyx setting but this in no way detracts from the magic of this piece.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe font has a white enamel insert to hold the water and it has its original cover which sits perfectly over the font.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eInset is a wonderful miniature painting of Christ on porcelain. It is not signed on the front and I do not wish to remove it from its setting to see if there is a signature on the back. Christ is surrounded by a gold background.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI discovered it at an antique fair in Tarbes in the South West of France and was immediately struck by the workmanship and the superb colours.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eIt measures 16 cm tall and 9.5 cm at its widest point, which is the centre.
